Sentences™ is a multi-user, web-enabled database management system that comes complete with a full set of development tools, interfaces and applications. Using the Sentences Web Development Kit, customers can design and deploy sophisticated database applications more quickly and with less technical know-how than has previously been possible.

Sentences™ is written in Java and uses the Java VM for the platforms supported. All applications written on one platform transfer seamlessly to another platform. Moving the product will not incur a cost. However, if it is a second system being used and not a replacement system, a new license will be required.

What facilities are there for demonstration versions of the product? Is it full function, time-restricted or functionally limited in some way? How do I get hold of this?

What is the difference between the Personal Edition that I downloaded from your website and the Enterprise Edition?

The Enterprise Edition runs on a Web server so your Applications can be accessed by an unlimited number of users over the Web.

The Personal Edition runs as a program and, although the database is fully functional, it cannot be accessed by multiple users. The powerful XML interfacing cannot be run on the Personal Edition either.

If I write an example application in the Personal Edition can I transfer it to the Enterprise or Workgroup Edition once I have bought the product?

Yes, you can.
